2018 was my year, I stuck to a strict diet and was able to drop 15lbs in over 3 months. I was at 151 the thinnest I had been since high school. That was about to change however, because I had life throw a huge curve ball, which was falling pregnant.
Like most women, I ended up gain 40+ pounds during my pregnancy. After an unplanned C-Section and recovering from it. I began the challenge of losing all my baby weight. Thankfully the weight I put on during pregnancy was mostly water, and through fasting and dieting I was able to lose it fairly quickly. All but the last few pounds. In order to help me take that last few off, I did the 7 day cabbage detox soup diet, and was successfully able to reach my pre baby weight.
Then I was stuck at this weight, fast forward to a bad breakup and lost of an appetite, I dropped down to 148lbs. Which was awesome, but it didn’t stay that way. Finally healing mentally and gaining an appetite back. I ballooned up back to 152lbs. Now let’s skip to the present day, I’ve had to cut gluten outta my diet (because of a sensitivity.) but I used the gluten free as a crutch. I stupidly thought it’s gluten free so it’s healthy, or gluten free items are hard to find so I’ll eat whatever is gluten free. Add this mindset to completely focusing on my son and taking really no time for health. I ended up gaining 4-6lbs, and became mad at myself. Now I’m turning over a new leaf in my life, I’m going to become full paleo. Which works really well with the whole gluten intolerance, I’ve been working hard to drink close to a gallon of water a day, and I’m actually down 2lbs! It’s only been a few days and I’ve already lost 2lbs!!!! I was shocked and extremely happy!!
That’s the purpose of this blog, I’ll be sharing my weight lost journey and paleo life style, I’ll try super hard to keep updates rolling out. So bare with me if a week goes by with nothing, because on top of a full time working mom, I’m also a full time student, but that’s another story for another day.
